With unspoiled wilderness areas, spectacular display of wildlife, natural wonders, stunning landscapes, delicious cuisine and wine, very few destinations can equal the experience available in Botswana, South Africa and Victoria Falls. Our Botswana Safari and South Africa tour includes 4 nights on safari in the wildlife rich country of Botswana, 1 night in Victoria Falls and 6 nights in the vibrant cultural country of South Africa. Of special note are the 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites that will be visited while on tour including Victoria Falls and the Cape Floristic Region of South Africa.

Upon your arrival in Johannesburg, you will be greeted by our local representative, and transferred to your boutique hotel. Later, join your tour leader and fellow travelers for a tour overview followed by a welcome dinner.

Transfer to the Johannesburg airport and fly to the safari gateway city of Kasane in Northern Botswana. Upon arriving at the Kasane International Airport you will be met and transferred to your lodge, located just outside Chobe National Park. Within moments of entering the parks gate, you will start seeing the abundance of wildlife in the area, including giraffes, zebras and elephants. This is definitely not your typical airport to hotel transfer.

Upon arrival at your safari lodge you will be greeted by the staff and briefed of the activities offered over the next three days. Your safari lodge enjoys a unique position just minutes from the western gate of Botswana’s famed Chobe National Park. The lodge sits on an escarpment and is perfectly located for seeing the best that Chobe has to offer. Unusual for a Botswana lodge, it is owner run and managed, which allows for a more personalized service.

The lodge’s 11 bungalows come with en-suite bathrooms featuring standalone baths and spacious showers. Each bungalow is furnished with an eclectic mixture of solid wood and African furniture. Accommodations are perfectly located on either side of the main lodge and offer spectacular panoramic views from private shaded verandas. Guests can relax in the expansive main lounge area; from the viewing platforms and decks, the dining area and the bar. Close by is the swimming pool, complete with deck and more excellent views. In the evening there is also a wonderful campfire boma where guests gather after dinner for a nightcap.

The lodge prides itself on the variety and quality of the safari experiences and interactions that it offers. With a maximum of only 22 guests at one time, guests have a wide choice of activities, without ever feeling apart of a big group. Chobe is famous for its large herds of elephant and buffalo, along with numerous predators - including lions, leopards and wild dogs. There is a great diversity of plains game and an astonishing array of bird species.

During your three day stay activities on offer include three game drives per day including a ‘nights eyes’ night game drive, a safari cruise on the Chobe River, bush walking-safaris, and a visit to a local village.
